Ronald "Jimmy" Ward

Ronald James “Jimmy” Ward, 29, of Lenoir passed away on Wednesday, June 30th. Jimmy was born on August 12, 1991, and was the son of Ronald Albert Ward and Karen Brown Ward of Lenoir. Jimmy was an appliance repairman, enjoyed video games and was a tremendous support to the family in all aspects.That included being a caretaker to his mother. Survivors include his Mother, Karen Brown Ward, and a brother, William Thomas Ward, both of Lenoir; a Nephew, Micah Asher Ward; his Grandmother, Edith Killian Brown; his Grandfather, Albert Ward; and numerous other loved ones. A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 12:00PM at Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Poarch and Reverend Bradley Walker officiating. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association at P.O.
