Ryan Dean Walsh

Ryan Dean Walsh, The Gentle Giant, was born March 16, 1976. After years of battling congestive heart failure has passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ June 20th, 2025.

He is survived by his loving family, including his daughters Rebecca and Deanna. Granddaughters, Zoey, Serenity, Rosary, and Kallie. His father Daryl, as well as his Maw Bonnie and Paw Vance.

Ryan will be remembered for his giant heart of gold, extraordinary masonry skills, and the endless love he gave to everyone around him. Ryan touched the lives of everyone he met. His presence has been a great comfort in the lives of his family, and his absence will be deeply felt every passing day.

Though he has left this world, the memories and spirit of Ryan will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him; he will never be forgotten. The family asks that you hold your loved ones close and remember the quiet, enduring strength that Ryan shared with all who knew him.

A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Pastors Marvin Ford, Brent Dula, Brian Dula, Cecil Hamby and Roy Kanupp officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Laytown Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service.

He will be dearly missed and forever loved.
