Sally Pritchard

January 16, 1931 — December 1, 2025

Sally Louise Pritchard, lovingly known as "Maw Maw," went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 1, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on January 16, 1931, in North Carolina to the late Thomas and Grace Holden, Sally was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose legacy of love and faith touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Sally was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Pritchard; her cherished daughter, Sue Martin; and her siblings, Paul Holden, Opal Austin, Jewel McLean, Mozelle Minton, and David Holden. Her life was marked by her unwavering love and care for her family, beginning with her nieces and nephews and continuing as she raised three children and nurtured countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she left an indelible mark on each of their lives.

Known for her deep faith, Sally was a living testament to the power of prayer and a shining example of a Godly woman. She dedicated herself to teaching her family about the love of Jesus Christ and embraced her role as a spiritual guide with grace and dedication. "Thank you, Mama, Maw Maw, for always being there for each of us. You will be missed but not forgotten! We love you!"

Sally is survived by her devoted children, David Pritchard and wife Kathy, and Regina Houk and husband Butch; her adoring grandchildren, Jeff Martin and wife Dawn, Eric Martin and wife Monica, Amanda Morris and husband Jason, Thomas Smith and wife Caroline, and Holden Pritchard; her precious great-grandchildren, Madalyn Oxford and husband Isiah, Georganna Wike and husband Tyler, Lauren Williams and husband Garrett, Olivia Martin and fiancée Cody Barlowe, Max Martin and fiancée Mabry Land, Talyn Morris, Olive Morris, and Quinn Smith; and her beloved great-great-grandchildren, Maggie Sue Oxford, Cash Williams, and River Oxford.

A service to celebrate Sally’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Calvary Advent Christian Church, officiated by Pastor Jim Lee, Pastor Thomas Smith and Pastor Brandon Thomas. The family invites friends to gather from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are being made by Evans Funeral Service & Crematory, who are honored to serve the family of Sally Holden Pritchard. Sally's legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved so dearly.
