Sally Darlene Sharpe

Sally “Darlene” Sharpe, age 72, of Lenoir, entered into rest on June 18, 2025 surrounded by her family. Born on November 12, 1952 to late Howard and Edith Sharpe. Darlene praised the Lord and loved her family.

A member of Harris Chapel for over 20 years, Darlene enjoyed singing the gospel and telling people about Jesus. She dedicated her time to her family and always put their needs before hers. Darlene was known for being kind, supportive, and a firm believer in the Bible.

Darlene is survived by three sisters, Regina Gail Sharpe, Sharon Jenkins and, Linda Simmons; a brother James “Tony” Sharpe wife, Janie Sharpe and several other family members that will cherish her memory.

A service to celebrate Darlene’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 4:00 PM with Reverend Paul Gentry officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
