In Loving Memory of Sandra Price
January 6, 1957 – October 9, 2026
With a heavy heart and profound love, we announce the passing of our precious mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend, Sandra Jane Miller Price, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 9, 2026.
A Life Well-Lived
Born on January 6, 1957, to the late Burl Edison and Lizzie Jane Miller, Sandra grew up with a vibrant spirit, contagious laughter, and an extraordinary capacity for empathy. From an early age, she possessed a quiet strength and a gentle wisdom that naturally drew people to her. Throughout her life, she touched countless hearts with her unconditional kindness, active listening, and unwavering grace.
A Devoted Heart and Home
To know Sandra was to experience true generosity and hospitality. She dedicated her life to creating a warm, welcoming home where the door was always open, laughter was shared freely, and a hot meal was always waiting. She was a second Momma and Nana to all the children who entered her life—whether neighborhood kids, classmates of her daughter, or friends of her grandchildren. She welcomed them with open arms, fed them, listened to their stories, and loved them as her own. Her passion for caring for others, combined with her vibrant humor and comforting presence, brought immense joy to all who knew her. Her strength, guidance, and unconditional love served as the constant foundation of our family.
Forever in Our Hearts
Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving daughter, Brandy Lovatto, and husband, Ian Lovatto, with whom Sandra lived with shared her daily life; her treasured grandchildren, Evan Lovatto and Logan Lovatto, and her cherished bonus granddaughter, Mya Martin, all of whom were the absolute light of her life; her siblings, Lester Miller and wife Diane, and Donny Miller and wife Cindy; her cherished nieces and nephews, including Brandon Miller and wife Sherri, April Miller, Heather Coleman and husband Curtis; her adored great-nieces and great-nephews including Braeden Miller, Grey Hargus, Landon Coleman, Parker Coleman, and Michael Hollar; alongside a wide circle of extended family members, neighbors, and dear friends whose lives were made brighter by her presence. She was reunited in peace with her beloved family members: her father, Burl Edison Miller; her mother, Lizzie Jane Miller; her brother, Dearly Miller; and her late former husband, Gene Thomas Price, with whom she maintained a warm friendship.
Sandra also shared a special bond with Rusty, her brother Lester's Goldendoodle. They were the best of friends—Sandra visited him every day, and Rusty would wait eagerly by the door, knowing she'd bring plenty of affection and his favorite treats.
