Scott Alan Adkins

Lenoir– Scott Alan Adkins, age 43, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at his home.He was born April 14, 1972 in Caldwell County. Scott had served as a volunteer fireman for the Chesterfield Fire Department for 20 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Alan Edwin Adkins. Survivors are his mother, Betty Pennell Key of the home, his sister, Kimberly Adkins Keil and husband Jim of Conover; his brother David Matthew Adkins and wife April of Dysartsville; his nephew, Chris Bumgarner and two nieces, Jordan Bumgarner and Hallie Keil. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 16, 2015 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend James Lockee officiating.Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
