It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Francis Rabideau, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and devoted servant of the Lord. Born on February 12, 1959, in Plattsburgh, New York, Scott went home to be with his Savior on December 4, 2025, at his home in Lenoir, NC.
Scott lived a life rich in faith, dedication, and love. His deep devotion to the Lord fueled his days and inspired those around him. A man who found joy in the simplicity of creation, Scott was an avid hunter and outdoorsman a testament to his appreciation for God’s creation and craftsmanship. He also had a lifelong love for classic American automobiles.
As a peace officer, pastor, and missionary, Scott's life was an embodiment of service, compassion, and unwavering commitment to his faith, family, and community. He was the chaplain of the Fraternal Order of Police in Caldwell County, NC, and found satisfaction in his work with the Southeast Baptist Seedline Ministries, leaving a legacy of faith and dedicated service. An Eagle Scout in his youth, Scott's life was a testament to the Scout values of honor, respect, and duty.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Anne Rabideau; his son, Scott Rabideau Jr., and wife Alicia; his daughter, ReNe'e Bixler, and husband Joshua; and his cherished ten grandchildren (Emma, Alathia, Peyton & Addison, Quorra, Russo, Shia, Schylar, Qwintyn, Kailen) who were his treasures. He also leaves behind his brother Todd (Shari), and sisters Tracie (Mike) and Brandie (Andrew). Along with many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Joseph and Rita Mae Rabideau, sister Connie Roberts, and four precious grandchildren.
Friends and family will gather to honor Scott's life on Monday, December 8, 2025, with a service at 2:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church. A visitation for friends will precede the service at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Southeast Baptist Seedline Ministries at Temple Baptist Church, reflecting Scott's lifelong mission to spread the Gospel and serve others.
Scott Francis Rabideau’s life was a testament to faith, family, and a commitment to serve. He will be deeply missed but will remain in the hearts of those who were blessed enough to know him.
