Shannon Leigh Kirby

Shannon Leigh Wear Kirby, 56, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Shannon was born on August 7, 1970, to the late Billy Dennis Wear and her mother, Ann Spears Wear.

Those left to cherish Shannon’s memory are her mother, Ann Spears Wear, daughters, Allison Peterson (Tony) and Sydney Kirby; grandchildren, Caleb, Layden, Blake, Brandy, Treyton, Rya, and Emberly; brother, William Wear; niece, Ivey, and nephew, Noah.

Shannon was loved and will be missed.

There will be no services at this time.
