Sharon Marlene Barnett

Sharon Marlene Barnett, 60, of Taylorsville, North Carolina passed away on June 1, 2021 at her residence in Taylorsville. Sharon was born December 22, 1960 to the late June Trout Barnett and Leonard Earl Barnett Sr. She loved basketball, showing Tennessee walking horses and was passionate for all animals. Her passion for animals led her to a career in the veterinary industry. She is survived by her two brothers, Leonard Barnett Jr. and wife Gloria of Jamestown TN and Gregory Barnett and wife Tammy of Mt. Airy NC; sister, Karen Barnett of Fall Branch TN; nieces and Nephews, Lee (Rebecca), Melissa (Bryan), Beverly (Thomas), Emily, Mallory (Toby), and Eric (Amanda). The family respectfully asks in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Antioch Baptist Church (Youth Foundation) 580 Antioch Church Rd Taylorsville NC 28681 A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
