Sheila Bumgarner

Lenoir- Mrs. Sheila Ann Laws Bumgarner, age 67, of Lenoir, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Caldwell UNC Medical Center.Born July 26, 1948 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Clinton Roy and Beatrice Booher Laws and the wife of Mr. Kenneth L. Bumgarner of the home. Sheila and her husband Kenneth enjoyed spending time at their second home in Cherokee and spending time with family and friends in Gatlinburg. Other than her husband, she is survived by two children, Melissa Fox and husband Jack Avery Fox of Summerville, SC; Greg Bumgarner and friend Patricia Beck of Granite Falls; six brothers, Clinton Roy Laws, Jr. and wife Diane of Charlotte; David Allen Laws of Lenoir; William “Billy” Laws and wife Sheila of Baton; Thomas “Dean” Laws of Virginia; Gary “Tiny” Laws of Chesterfield; Randy Dale Laws of Lenoir; two sisters, Sylvia Crump and husband Jack of Morganton; Betty Roy of Orlando, Fl; two grandchildren, Kelly Miller and husband Jeremy of Shreveport, LA; Lexie McGee of Lenoir and two great-grandchildren, Ryan Gregory Armitage and Austin Boone Miller. A celebration of Sheila’s life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 6, 2015 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM, one hour prior to the service.
