Shirley Beshears Miller

Lenoir, NC- Shirley Beshears Miller, age 74, of Lenoir, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir. She was born August 17, 1938 in Wilkes County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tam and Lou Beshears, her husband, Glen Miller, two brothers, Raymond Beshears and James Farley Beshears and Ed and Maddy Beshears. Shirley had worked for Fairfield Chair and Broyhill Furniture. She was a member of Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church, the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by one brother, Adam “Chuck” Beshears and wife Carol, of Wilkesboro; and two sisters, Geraldine Callicutt and husband Ronnie of Thomasville and Christine Evans and husband Robert of Badin Lake. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 17, 2012 at Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Keith Gilliam and Pastor David Crisp officiating. Burial will follow in the Yellow Hill Cemetery in Wilkes County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
