Shirley Faye Woods

Shirley Faye Woods, 87, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Faye was born on May 5, 1938, to the late Mansfield and Hattie Shew.

In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her husband, L. Colon Woods, and several brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish Faye’s memory are her sons, grandchildren, step grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Faye loved her family, church, and above all the Lord. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and spending time outdoors.

A graveside service to honor Faye’s life will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at The Woods Family Cemetery, 7974 Elk Creek Darby Road, Ferguson, NC. with Reverend James Propst officiating.
