Steven Alexander Walton

 In Loving Memory of Steven Alexander Walton. 

Loving Husband, Father, Uncle, Brother, Stepfather, and Friend. He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Jessie Walton; his children, Kim Walton (Lenoir, NC), Serena Scott (Hickory, NC), Anissa Stowe (Winston-Salem, NC), Steven Walton (Lenoir, NC), Latisha Reid (Lenoir, NC), and Halona Walton (Roanoke, VA). His stepchildren, Corey Fields, Felicia Fields, Sharonda Renee, and Yolonda Stowe; his siblings, Diane Scott (Benny Scott), Debra Walton, and Henry Thomas Walton. A host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by: His parents, Sanders and Lorena Walton; his sisters, Sandra Walton, Avanna Lipford, Sylvia Gonzalez, and Georgia Perkins; his niece, Tammy Monique Walton; his grandson, Cameron Walton; and his great-niece, Tami Nya-Jha Walton. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service, 1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645. Viewing will be 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Pastor Rocky Dula will be officiating with Associate Pastor Alex Scott doing the Eulogy. Special musical selections by Latisha Reid.

 A private family repass will be held immediately following the funeral service.
