Sue Benfield

Sue Benfield Lenoir – Frances Sue McCrary Benfield, age 93, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was born on February 27, 1921 to the late Felix A. McCrary and Orpha Presnell McCrary. She was married to Willard Robert Benfield who passed away February 13, 2014. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother Banks McCrary; two sisters, Mavis McCrary Greene and Ethel McCrary and her daughter-in-law, Judy Allen Benfield. She is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” Douglas Benfield; daughter, Brenda Sue Benfield Bentley and husband, Gerald Sr.; sister, Grace McCrary Watson; grandchildren, Robert Douglas Benfield, II; Shannon Benfield Woodruff; Gerald E. Bentley, Jr.; Suzy Bentley Plyler and husband, Danny; ten great-grandchildren; and lots of special nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be private.
