Sylvia "Ann" Rose Warlick

Sylvia Ann Rose Warlick, fondly known as Ann, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 14th, 2026, at Caldwell UNC in Lenoir, NC. Born on Friday, December 31st, 1937, in Virginia, Ann lived a life full of love, faith, and devotion.

A cherished resident of Lenoir, NC, Ann was deeply connected to her community through her longstanding membership and active involvement with East Hudson Baptist Church. She passionately served in their theatre program, traveling far and wide to share the gospel story with countless others.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Marshall Lee Barr, Sr., and Burl “Judge” Warlick, and her sons, Marshall Lee Barr, Jr., David William Barr, and Billy Dean Barr. She was also preceded by several brothers and sisters who are dearly remembered.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, survived by her sons, James Barr and Robert Barr. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and an extended family too vast to name individually, but all treasured in her heart.

Ann dedicated her career as a Lead Cook, where her warm meals and even warmer heart nourished many. Her unwavering faith and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Pierce Funeral Home in Manassas, Va, on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm. Following the visitation, Ann will be entombed at Stonewall Memory Garden, where she will rest in peace alongside family who have gone before her.
