Terry Elwood Buie

Terry Buie Lenoir, NC- Terry Elwood Buie, age 66, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at his residence. Terry was born in Rowan County on March 25, 1947 to the late Joseph Thomas Buie and Esther White Buie. He was married to Patricia Russell of the residence. Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany an did one tour in Vietanm. He enjoyed working with cars, guns and horses. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnne Hamilton. Other than his wife he is survived by his children Paul Russell, Douglas Russell, Terry Buie, Robbie Buie, Willi Buie and Jimmy Buie; brothers, Jim Buie, Joe Buie and Larry Buie; sisters, Dee Bates, Sandra Parker, and Pat Robbins; and several grand-children. A celebration of Terry̢۪s life will be held at New Life Baptist Church on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Phillip Hawkins officiating.
