Terry Gentry

Mr. Terry Lee Gentry, age 63, of Lenoir, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare.Born September 29, 1956 in Caldwell County, Terry was a son of Grace Cheek Gentry and the late Ed Gentry. Terry loved music and had been a member of both a singing trio and quartet.Also, he was a former minister of music at Setzer Creek Baptist Church.Terry was a hairdresser by trade.He began his career in the early 80’s and built a huge clientele over the years.He was very talented and especially enjoyed gardening and making floral arrangements. Terry was a wonderful cook.He was loved by everyone.He will be remembered for his huge smile, laughter and kindness.In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Randy Gentry. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by 2 sisters, Sherri Gentry Andrews and Sandy England (husband Doug); a brother, Jody Gentry (wife Kelly); He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
