Thad Hall

Hudson – Mr. Thad Clark Hall, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Pinecrest Assisted Living in Hickory. He was born in Caldwell County on September 26, 1943 to the late Ernest Hall and Daisy Fulbright Hall. Mr. Hall was a loving father and grandfather. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to make friends wherever he went. He was known for his carpentry skills, love of playing bingo with his friends at Pinecrest, cooking, baseball and his love for his children. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gwyn Hall and Carroll Hall and his uncle, Stanley Hall. He is survived by his son, Matthew Hall; daughter, Michelle Hall; granddaughter, Matison Hall; brother, Eddie Hall and sister, Jearline Hall Ernest. A celebration of Mr. Hall’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jim Lee officiating. Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery.Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Hall, Eddie Hall, Todd Hall, Mark Hall, Alexis Peissel and Wesley Ernest.Honorary pallbearers will be Monty Hall, Marion Hall, Lenny Dellinger, Paul McGhinnis and Steve Bryant. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service.
