Thelma Fox

Lenoir – Mrs. Thelma Payne Fox, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Caldwell Hospice. She was born in Rutherford County on January 6, 1938 to the late Hollis and Lucia Payne. Left to cherish Mrs. Fox’s memory is her daughter, Pam Taylor of Winston-Salem; sons, Michael of Arizona and Jamie of Hickory; brother, William Payne; also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Fox will be held at St. Paul A.M.E. Church on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 3:00 PM with Reverend Dr. Byron Grayson officiating.
