Thomas Mauck

Lenoir- Thomas William Mauck, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born in Burke County on June 18, 1989 to Harold Mauck and the late Vickie Kirk Hall. Thomas was a kind-hearted young man who was always willing to go out of his way to help others whether he knew them or not. He was loved by not only his family but by his many friends and co-workers. In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Girsa Mauck; step-father, Conley Hall; sisters, Heather Lucas and husband, Robert of Myrtle Beach; Trina Rader and husband, Scott; step-sisters, Beverly Lee and husband, Jason; and Connie Martin; nieces and nephews, Addalynn and Ashton Lucas; Loryn and Carson Rader; Christopher Stinson; and Brody and Carissa Lee; aunts, Connie Winstead Huskey and Melisa Ann Sigmon; uncles, Russell Kirk, Eddie Kirk, Terry Kirk and Mark Kirk; and numerous other family members. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM. A celebration of Thomas’ life will be held at Joyceton Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Pastor W. Steven Cornell officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
