Timothy Alan Marley

Timothy A. Marley, aged 67 of Lenoir, NC, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025.

Tim was born on February 16, 1958, to the late Kenneth Marley and Sylvia Myers. He dedicated 25 years to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office. After his career in law enforcement, he continued to serve his community as a teacher at Hickory High School, and followed in his father’s footsteps, completing a multitude of construction and carpentry projects. When Tim wasn’t working, he could be found golfing or spending time on the farm.

Left to carry on his memory are his son, Jonathan (Lindsey) of Virginia; stepfather, Paul Myers of Lenoir; grandson, Beau; and countless friends in Lenoir and beyond.

Tim’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m, at Evan Funeral Service in Lenoir. A graveside service will follow at Bible Way Baptist Church (2568 Brushy Mtn. Rd., Wilkesboro). All who are able are welcome to follow the family to the graveside service after the receiving.
