Todd Matthew Jenkins

Todd Matthew Jenkins of 805 East Klutz Street, Maiden passed away on July 23, 2026. Todd was born in Lincolnton, NC on November 13, 1961, the son of Robert Benjamin Jenkins and Marie Eurey Jenkins.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Tracy Joyce Jenkins; and his son, Tyler Mattew Jenkins. He is survived by his wife, Veronica N. Jenkins, and his daughter, Alexandra L. Jenkins. Todd is also lovingly remembered by his six siblings: Robert R. Jenkins (Charla), Beth Jenkins-Horsley (Andrew), John C. Jenkins (Cherri), Benjamin E. Jenkins (Sharon), D. Jamison Jenkins, and Jean Jenkins-McCrary (Jeffrey).

Todd proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a graduate of West Lincoln High School and Catawba Valley Community College, where he earned a degree in Landscape Architecture. He enjoyed a successful career utilizing his degree both as a teacher at Catawba Valley and in maintaining and nurturing the college grounds and landscaping at Catawba Valley and Gaston Colleges. In his free time, Todd found pleasure riding his motorcycle and spending time outdoors. He was also an avid reader and particularly enjoyed discussing historical novels.
