Walter Casimir Snope

Walter Snope Walter Snope, 70, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Walter was a loving husband, decorated Vietnam veteran, talented photographer, avid fisherman, world traveler, voracious reader, and a friend to many. Walter was a long-time friend of Bill W. Walt is preceded in death by his parents Casimir and Anna Snope and his sisters: Mary Ann Hansen and Carol Czyjewski. Walt is also preceded in death by his beloved German Shepherd, Apollo. Walt is survived by his wife, Patricia Caron, and his son Shawn Lagassey, and wife Gigi. A celebration of life will be held at Evans Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00 am; officiated by the Rev. Jim Lee.
