Wanda Benge

Wanda Benge went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Trinity Ridge in Hickory. She was born in Caldwell County on July 1,1936 to the late J. Van Harris and Lois P. Harris. She was married to Doug Benge of the residence for 34 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Starnes and brother, Robert Harris.

Other than her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Beverly Mitchum and husband, Wally; Melanie Walls and husband, Kenneth; stepchildren, David Benge; Diana Winemaster and husband, Bill.

Wanda will be remembered for loving her Lord and family.

A celebration of her life was held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
