Wanda Gail Bryant

Mrs. Wanda Broyhill Bryant, age 63, of Granite Falls passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice in Hudson. Born March 27, 1954 in Caldwell County, Wanda was a daughter of the late James Burl and Charlotte Nina Bentley Broyhill.Wanda loved working in her garden and spending time with her family.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Dale” Bryant; and one brother, Marvin Edward Broyhill. Survivors include her children, Anita Bryant Parton (husband Larry) of Hudson, Anissa Dawn Hayes (husband Nick) of Rutherford College and Brian Wear of Charlotte; a sister, Karen Broyhill of Palm Coast, FL; a brother, Bruce Broyhill of Granite Falls; she is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives. A graveside celebration of Wanda’s life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Blue Ridge Memorial Park at 3:00PM with Jeff Carpenter and Charlie Brooks officiating.
