Wanda Miller

Granite Falls – Mrs. Wanda Louise Miller, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 29, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Washington County, VA on September 6, 1946 to the late Eskel and Louise Trivette Snyder. She was married to Larry Miller, Sr. of the residence for over 53 years. Mrs. Miller was faithful to her church, Lenoir First Free Will Baptist, for over 40 years. She was a loving wife, nurturing mother, wonderful grandmother and a dear friend. She enjoyed reading mysteries, crocheting and cooking. Mrs. Miller was the “rock” of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Nelson and her sisters, Kathy Ottinger and Pat Cunningham. Other than her husband, Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, Larry Miller, Jr and wife, Teresa; Coy Miller; and Becky Dean and husband, Jamie; grandchildren, Chesla Miller; Dustin Summerlin; and Elliott Miller; and one great-granddaughter on the way. A Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Lenoir First Free Will Baptist Church conducted by her husband, Rev.
