Lenoir, NC- Mr. Warren Randolph Ford, age 88, of Lenoir, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at his home. Born January 17, 1924 in Caldwell County, Mr. Ford was a son of the late Henry Granville and Tempe Bradshaw Ford. Mr. Ford was a member of Flemings Chapel Baptist Church and a retired data processing manager with Broyhill Furniture Industries. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and golf. He was a US Army veteran serving during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Corrine Ford of the Home; two sons, Steven Warren Ford of Lenoir, Dennis Wayne Ford and wife Donna of Greensboro, 1 sister, Mary Greene and husband Dee of Blowing Rock, two brothers, Clarence H. Ford and wife Virginia of Dayton, Ohio, David Ford and wife JoAnne of Michigan; a grandson, Tyler Stokes and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mr. Ford?s life will be held at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Lester Honson and Reverend Raymond Spann officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Marvin Triplett, Junior Hendrix, Cecil Triplett, Danny Kincaid, Tyler Stokes, Derrell Stokes and Tommy Bumgarner. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Adult Men?s Sunday School Class.
