Willow LaRae Perkins

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Willow LaRae Perkins, who was called to heaven far too soon on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Born on February 7, 2026, in Catawba County, Willow blessed the lives of those around her with her beautiful brown eyes and effervescent spirit.

During her short yet impactful life, Willow’s presence was a beacon of joy and curiosity. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted parents, Travaughn Perkins and Maddison Brown, who cherished every moment spent with her in their home in Taylorsville, NC. Her twin sister, Violet, was her constant companion in cuddles and comfort.

Willow had a love for watching videos with her mom and dad—a simple joy that brought smiles and laughter into their lives. She delighted in the affection showered upon her by her family, especially when being doted on by her older siblings, Ziyah and Aliyah, who were ever eager to hold and console her. In Willow's presence, bath time became a sanctuary, and her favorite time of day.

In addition to her parents those left to cherish her memory include her three siblings, Aliyah, Ziyah, and Violet; Aunts, Diane, Abbie and her three children, Shauna and her three children, Breanna, Ava, Robin, and LaTyvia; Uncles, Nick, Chris, and Tyrone; cousins, Melissa and her three children, James and his son, Corrie and his daughter; Grandmothers, April and Donna, and Grandfathers, Chris and Adam.

Willow is preceded in death by her grandparents, Patricia, Terri, Patsy, James, cousin, Paisley, and aunt Winnie.

Her memory lingers tenderly with us—the way she would stick her tongue out with playful innocence, the assurance in her spirited laugh, and yes, even the loudness of her cries that filled the space with life. Willow has forever imprinted upon the hearts of all who knew her, leaving us with cherished memories of her short but beautiful journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 19, 2026, at 12:00PM at Evans Funeral Service and Crematory with visitation scheduled from 11:00AM to 12:00PM before the service.
