Wincell Ford Wincell Monroe Ford, 63, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Wincell was a lifelong resident of Sawmills, NC. He was a retired truck driver who had continued his life long passions of hunting, camping, farm life, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both his parents Mr & Mrs. John W. Ford of Sawmills, one sister Della Ford Bowman and one brother John W, Ford Jr. Wincell leaves behind his wife of 45 years Carol Ford and his 4 children. Mr & Mrs Mike Ford, Mr John Ford, Mr & Mrs James (Misty Ford) Crump, and Mr & Mrs Vince (Christy Ford) Wilson. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren: Jonathan Ford, Samuel Ford, Anna Ford, William Ford, Maggie Wilson, Owen Ford, Henry Crump, Melissa Crump, Donavan Wilson, and Duncan Wilson; one brother, Marvin Ford; two sisters: Darlene Smith and Pauline Dula; and numerous other family members who will miss him greatly. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Walking By Faith Baptist Church from 6:00 until 7:00 PM. A celebration of Wincell’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Walking By Faith Baptist Church with Dr. Clifton Blackofficiating.
