Yolanda Dula

Yolanda Bernadette (Bernie) Dula died June 8, 2017. She was born March 19, 1955 to Lois Forney Dula and the late Bryant Dula, and was preceded in death by her brother Terry. She retired from Caldwell County schools as a teacher’s assistant and CIS site director. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, and loved life, laughter, family, friends and above all, God. In addition to her mother, survivors include her son, Douglas (D.D.) Lipford; a daughter, Jamie Hendrix; grandchildren, Sydney, Camron, Durant, Zaya; sisters, Jean and Deloris Patterson. Bernie wished to have no services and asked that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
