Richard Franklin Fowler

Richard Franklin Fowler, age 60, of Lenoir passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 24, 2018 at his residence.He was born March 18, 1958 to the late Jay Lewis and Kattie Bell Fowler.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Irene Coffey, his sister Nancy Fowler and brothers, Donald Fowler and Michael Fowler. Daddy gave love, time, talents, and treasures to all & was loved by everyone. God is love and God lived in, worked through, and resided in daddy. He was made to love and be loved by all. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren.He made his journey to his retirement home on Christmas Eve to heaven just in time for Jesus’ birthday celebration. With all that he gave a great treasure in heaven awaited him. Survivors include his brother, Harry James Fowler; sister, Maxine Day;mother of his children, Mary Fowler; children, Betty Duckworth and husband John, Dewey Coffey and wife Misty, Anthony Kaylor, Mary Johnson and husband Tracy, Rachel Pitts and husband Tim, and Sue Ann Fowler; wife, Paula Fowler; step-sons, Eric, Jarad, and Kirt Calhoun; and many grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Evans Funeral Service Chapel conducted by Rev. Todd Braswell.The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 am at the funeral home.Interment will follow the service.
