Ronnie Jeffries

Ronnie Franklin Jeffries, 70, of Valdese, passed away Wednesday March 14, 2018. Ronnie was born in Cleveland County, February 27, 1948 to the late William Franklin Jeffries and late Irene Jeffries. Ronnie is survived by his wife Tracie Jeffries of Valdese; daughter Charity Jeffries of Ventnor, New Jersey; son Robert Jeffries of Hickory; brother Scott Jeffries; nephew Hunter Jeffries; and niece Sarah Glover. Ronnie was retired from law enforcement and for many years was a flight instructor at the Morganton-Lenoir Airport. He loved flying and teaching others to fly. He also, enjoyed fishing and spending mornings with his breakfast buddies. Ronnie was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Valdese and deeply loved his Sunday school class and church family. Ronnie will be remembered for his wonderful humor, kindness, and as a loving husband and father. A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church of Valdese with Pastor Jim King officiating.
